Mission
Our mission is to reduce drop-out rates by fostering meaningful connections, nurturing leadership potential and equipping schools with the support they need to help students thrive academically and personally, ensuring every student has the opportunity to realize their full potential.

In the 1990s, I embarked on a journey from my homeland to the United States, carrying dreams of success, purpose, and fulfillment. As I adjusted to my new world, I committed myself to education as a foundation for my future and soon graduated from the University of South Florida. Eager to make my mark, I entered the corporate world, finding a path in Financial Services, where I spent the majority of my professional life. Yet, as the years passed, I often found myself feeling lost, confused, and, at times, deeply discouraged. I began to wonder if I was in the wrong field altogether.

Then, something remarkable happened. During a work function, I sat next to a manager who introduced herself as Pat. Our conversation started casually, but there was a genuine curiosity and warmth in her questions about my journey. Before we parted, she offered a lifeline: “If you ever need help with anything, put some time on my calendar.” It was a simple gesture, but it felt like divine intervention. I jumped at the chance, and that single conversation marked the beginning of a profound mentorship.

Pat became my first mentor, and her guidance transformed my life. She didn’t just provide career advice; she nurtured a belief in my potential that I didn’t yet see in myself. She motivated, challenged, and inspired me to think bigger, to strive further, and to find fulfillment beyond the daily grind. Looking back, I know our meeting was no coincidence.

Over time, as I experienced the power of mentorship firsthand, I felt an undeniable calling to do the same for others. I began mentoring my colleagues and, eventually, extended this passion to underprivileged young women, sharing with them the tools, resources, and encouragement to pursue their dreams wholeheartedly. Mentorship became a way for me to empower others as I had been empowered—to help them see a future filled with purpose and possibility.

This journey is the heartbeat of Inspire Me Mentors. Being mentored and mentoring others has shown me that we all have the potential to live beyond our perceived limits. Today, through Inspire Me Mentors, I’m committed to passing this gift forward, helping students and schools cultivate mentoring programs that can transform lives and create future leaders.

When I met Leah, she was just 13-a shy, disengaged girl with a range of academic and behavioral challenges. Rather than taking a song-size-fits-all approach, I developed a custom mentoring program just for her. Through detailed assessments, I uncovered the root causes of her struggles and learned what truly motivated her. Together, we worked on tailored development skills, from emotional intelligence to resume writing and interview techniques.
Over time Leah, began to flourish. Her confidence grew, her engagement in school increased, and she transformed into a motivated, capable young woman. Today, I am proud to say that Leah has been accepted to Bethune-Cookman University, ready to begin a new chapter of success. Her journey is a testament to the power of personalized mentoring and I couldn't be prouder of her growth and accomplishments.
